Dietitian advised that fewer than 1200 calories a day might increased risk for serious health issues such as bone loss, dry skin, missed periods, and even cardiac arrest. In order for Alley to maintain her weight and activity level a healthier calorie intake should be around 2,400 calories a day. While Kirstie Alley has been sporting a slimmer figure, limiting her calories to just 1400 a day while exercising for such long hours may be dangerous for her health.
